The Garden

garden4

In the garden the magnificence of life is mirrored in her beautiful surround

New growth quietly whispers to us in delicate and gentle ways

The story of bloom; a seed planted long ago reminding us with love and care everything will grow

Nature and the stars meet early in the morning just before the dawn

When the moon is passing shift and the sun about to rise

The trees and flowers slowly start to open their eyes

Birds sing their song, softly inviting you to wake as the garden dances to the start of a new day

Authenticity and spirit, graciously inviting you out to play

Breathe in deeply, feel the love and all the magic you will find

Knowing in your heart

When I dream of the garden

You are right there in my mind

  1. My Dear, You just keep luring me don’t You? Over and over! I loved this. It has all the hallmarks of Your tender and imaginative touch. Loved the lines – “New growth quietly whispers to us in delicate and gentle ways The story of bloom; a seed planted long ago reminding us with love and care everything will grow”

Also, – “Birds sing their song, softly inviting you to wake as the garden dances to the start of a new day”
This is such an exquisite and elegant line. Makes You imagine the experience just as You relate it!! I have noticed the reference to “dances” in another poem of Yours. So, are You a lover of dancing. It is such a happy thing to do!!!

Thanks so much for spending time with me reading my posts! I wish we could be reading our works to each other over coffee!!!
Hope Your Sunday is a Great One!

    • Thank you:) I adore all things flowers and garden, so this was fun for me to write. I tend to get lost in all the right ways while in the garden. I do reference dance quite a bit and I do love it. All though my old person back problems are currently making it more of toe tap these days lol. I like the idea of dance when writing, it is descriptively to me associates flow and happiness.

Thank you for spending time with me in our world of writing. It always feels nice to have coffee in hand and sharing:)
